Product & Partner Marketing Manager

BBM seeks an experienced marketing professional to lead Product & Partner Marketing for BBM globally. The successful candidate must have experience working closely with sales, business development, and product teams, and be ready to work as part of an international marketing team. As BBM executes the strategy of bringing more Content and Services (games, news, commerce, video, vouchers, etc) to the BBM users base, your challenge is to understand our customers and use these offerings to drive adoption of BBM.

Responsibilities:

Intimate knowledge of all aspects of BBM (core product and partner content/services)
• Understanding customers, driving customer research
• Value prop development (for core product and partner content/services)
• Drive development of messaging and creative
• Partner marketing interface (gather assets, obtain approvals – working with BD team)
• Go to market for product releases and partner content/service launches
• Thought leader and subject matter expert in mobile messaging apps
• Responsible for ongoing competitive analysis
• Shape innovative internal training programs to educate the regional sales force on a growing set of advertising solutions
• Work with the broader marketing team to develop and drive go-to-market strategies through various channels (incl. PR, events, speaking opportunities, digital, etc.)
• Drive best practice creation and implementation of solutions. Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency and flexibility in approach across the regional team in an effort to scale impact while meeting market-specific needs.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
5+ years professional experience in technology or marketing
• Experience working across regions, time zones and business cultures
• Experience working in partner marketing role, managing relationships with external partners
Has demonstrated product marketing expertise in the mobile app sector (messaging app preferred) and the ability to contribute at strategic, operational and tactical levels
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation in English and Bahasa. Experience presenting to large groups/C-level executives preferred
• Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders
• Strong customer service orientation and experience in a client-facing capacity
• Has demonstrated the ability to drive resolution in the context of competing perspectives
• Has excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work well independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
• Is a flexible, cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
